At Mountain Kids Daycare, we believe children learn best through play, discovery, and meaningful experiences. Our nurturing programs help children grow at their own pace—supporting their social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.

Curriculum Overview
We use Experience Curriculum.
Our curriculum includes a research-based, play-centered program that incorporates 35 key learning skills into hands-on games and projects. Integrating monthly themes that introduce foundational concepts across all areas of learning. These themes are thoughtfully woven into classroom centers, circle time, outdoor play, and creative activities. We believe that children thrive when they are free to explore, ask questions, and play in environments that are structured yet flexible. Our staff supports each child’s development at their own pace.

MEET OUR LEADERSHIP
Beth Godoy - Lead Director
I’m a proud wife and mom of five, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona. With over 15 years of experience in elementary and middle school classrooms, as well as in education administration, I’ve had the privilege of helping children and teachers grow both academically and personally.
My teaching philosophy is inspired by the words of William Butler Yeats: “Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire.” I believe learning should be exciting, meaningful, and joyful. Each day, I hope your children leave school feeling curious, confident, and eager to learn more.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11-13, which reminds me daily of the hope and purpose we can find in God’s plans. In my spare time (what little I have!), I enjoy quilting and reading a good book.
Suzy Linares - Director
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have been blessed with three amazing children. With over 15 years of experience working with children, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including Registered Behavior Therapist applying ABA therapy, Teacher’s Assistant, Team Lead at a daycare, and in administrative positions for more than seven years. My background spans both daycare and school settings, giving me a well-rounded perspective on early childhood education and care.
I firmly believe that every child is unique, with their own personality, learning style, and way of exploring the world. As an educator, it is my passion to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child can thrive. One of my favorite Bible verses, Proverbs 31:26 (NIV), reminds me daily of the importance of speaking with wisdom and kindness—it’s a beautiful reflection of the guidance God offers us in every aspect of life. When I’m not working, I love spending quality time with my family and Baking.
